LiftMate wiring diagram for Tiger Shark Control box
WARNING: The Lift Mate Device Must Never Be Connected To Any Voltage Other Than 5-32VDC or 12-24VAC!
See wiring diagram for Tiger Shark Control Box below:
Instructions
- Unplug / Disconnect Power To Your Boat Lift Prior To Opening Up Control Box!
- Remove the 4 screws at each corner of the control panel.
- Remove panel and turn around to gain access to the back side of the UP / Down switch.
- Locate the Blue, Red, & White wires coming from the back of the UP / Down switch and crimp on a T-Tap connector (included in box) on each wire.
- From the Lift Mate device, take the blue, black, and purple wires with the plug ends and connect them to the T-Tap connectors just installed as follows: Blue Lift Mate to Blue Tiger Shark, Black Lift Mate to White Tiger Shark, Purple Lift Mate to Red Tiger Shark.
- Take the remaining two included T-Tap connectors and crimp them on the two red low voltage wires coming from the transformer. Insure these wires are the two carrying the 24VAC.
- Take the power cable from the Lift Mate box and plug each of the plug ends into the two 24VAC wires that you just crimped the T-Tap connectors on. Polarity does not matter for these two connections. Then plug the other end of the power cable into the Lift Mate device.
- Find the black wire coming from the Tiger Shark terminal block, 5th position up from bottom, and running up the contractors. With wire snips and strippers, cut and strip each cut end of this wire.
- Take the remaining red and black wires coming out of the Lift Mate as shown in the above diagram, and wire nut each of these to one end of the cut black wire as shown.
- Take the red and blue wires from the Lift Mate limit switch sensor and wire them into the Tiger Shark terminal block as shown in the above diagram.
- Power up your boat lift and ensure the Lift Mate device LED is blinking quickly. This means your device is ready for set up. Power off your boat lift again.
- Tuck the Lift Mate device inside of the control box and then reinstall the panel with the 4 screws removed earlier.
- Once closed, you may power your boat lift back up, download the Lift Mate app from your App Store, and set up your device.
